Throttle sticking on a '01 Banshee
#1
Hello. My Banshee is pretty much stock except for the pipes, jetting, reed spacers, filters.
I ride only in the sand. About 7 times now since new. Maintenance is after every ride.
Last time I went out throttle started sticking. I didn't find out about it until a buddy told me he fixed it. Next morning it wouldn't start. Ended up being something in the thumb throttle body?, we think. Anyone care to point me in the right direction?
Thanks. Mike

There is a switch in the throttle system that kills the ignition if they do not match up on both ends (the thumb and the carbs). Make sure that they are adjusted properly at the carbs and I bet it will fire. This is a common problem when messing with the adjustments on stock Banshee carbs.
