I think the reverse on a Z is geared a little lower, so that makes it more freindly.... raptor being top heavy, just something to get use to (just lean a little). I just went with the raptor cause of the power, otherwise I thought they were pretty even really.

 

Here are some numbers to ponder:


Raptor approximately 36 HP 660cc
Z-400 approximately 30 HP 398cc

That means that the Rappy has a 65% larger engine with only 20% more horsepower.

That doesn't tell the whole story though, because the larger displacemet of the raptor equates to a ton more torque than the 400, which is why it is so much faster and can climb hills better.

Raptor destroys the Z.

A buddy of mine has a Alba full system on his Z, I have the full system on mine, and it's no contest.

 

yawn all ya want, it still remains a fact that the specific output of the Z is higher than the Raptor. You got almost and entire engine in displacement advantage. I hope to god you would win a drag....

 

yawn, the raptor might have more cc's which makes it faster, but around the track it aint sh*t. i have beatin many guys with raptors around a track, an im talking about more than one. the z stll one of the best quads out there, period.

it may be a good quad performance wise, but i've heard many times that there are alot of weak points on the frame. This goes to show that you should never buy a quad in the first year of it's production.
