Would I be looking at 55-60hp with this....

Alba Porting and Polish

I was just wondering because on the Alba Website, they say get your stock Raptor up to 54HP with thier piston and cam and porting. I was just wondering what you guys thought....

Starting with 37HP

Get 10 with the filter, jetting, pipe, header and entire kit....

6 with the cam and piston....

and 15% more with the porting....

So it would have to be around 55 at the least. Am I not right?? Or what????

Any idea of where it would be at???

 

That would be close low 50s to 55 tops depending on the porting and what dyno it's on.

 

Lets see...starting at 37hp and asuming jetting is spot on with additional mods.
high comp piston...2 horses at the top (everywhere else too)
cam that requires springs.....4 horses at the top and maybe less on bottom than a stocker??
pipe kit and no lid...IMO 7-8 horses (which is still impressive but not up pipe maker hype)
Alba port and polish.....who knows....maybe less than stock Hp..LOL??
SO, you have approx 50-51hp....with proper porting you MAY get there...so I would'nt totally rule out Alba's claim. BTW....I forgot too deduct at least 3hp from the looks of their nasty-ugly 20 year old looking pipe....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

Alba is a pretty good company but i would not let them do motor work for me. Let Craycraft do your head work and you will probly get more HP. but hey its just My opinion. Like everyone else said 50hp is very likly. Oh SIXSIX T you still have your kit? im still looking to order on from you lol.

If you want low-end to mid range there cam is great, but IMO the stock cam has more over rev. I didn't like it at all. I do drag race though.

 

In other words get Craycraft's 686 kit and drag pipe and you will be looking at mid to upper 60's hp...
