HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU TUNE THE CARBS
How do you tune a set of stock carbs on a banshee? I have been working on it for awhile now. They are stock with a white bros boost bottle, k&N filters, and it's been jetted up by yamaha. But they have it WAY TO RICH. I can smell the oil on the carbs badly, I gotta figure out how to tune it in here. Don't want to keep going back to yamaha for this.. GETS SPENDY.
I got FMF fatty headers, FMF Power Core pipes, and a few other small mods done to it.. want to mill the head next for more power and get rid of these stock carbs.
Thanks for the info

HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU TUNE THE CARBS
Okay here is the skinny on my banshee. FMF pipes, FMF Reeds, FMF Fatty headers, White bros boost bottle, K&N Filter kit with outtwears. It's running rich on both carbs right now and has a flat spot on the top end. Run out full throttle and it's running out of power kinda feel? Smells rich on oil, and dark brown on the plugs.

What jets did they put in at Yamaha? Jetting not that big of a deal just a pain with twin carbs since they get in each others way. I went single carb love it for the trail riding we do. You can change main, pilot, and adjust the clip in about 5 minutes. Buy a banshee service manual, they are very informative and have good pics. It can show you how to do a lot of the stuff yourself and save money for more mods.
