Default Warrior throttle switch

Me and a buddy are getting ready to trade throttles on our 2001 Warriors. His twist throttle for my thumb throttle. Is it pretty straight forward or do we have to remove any bike parts to get it done( plastic ,gas tank ?) Also does the carb cap stay with the throttle or does it stay on the bike? Thanks

no need to remove the carb cap. Just remove the black plastic cover on the left side of the carb and that will let you at the cable connection. As for removing the cable from carb connector, you'll have to get at it from above. I believe you can remove the tank cover plastic, then the tank itself and it'll be easy to get to. As far as the other plastic.. no need to remove.

Good Luck.

Wolverine- Worked like a charm. Definately different though having a twist instead of the thumb. Thanks Jon
