I thought that was a bit lean and am running the 4th clip with a 165 main and 45 pilot at 2 3/4 turns on the mix screw. Sometimes I'll run a 168 main..but on occasion I get a stumble up near the upper limit of the power band before hitting the limiter.

Okay, final decision. Did some trouble shooting today, and I think their recommendations were right on and I had it running too rich. I'm used to reading 2-stroke plugs, they give you a faster reading. But I got a beautiful tan color now and the machine screams and doesn't miss a beat with one exception. If in N, I slowly rev and catch a quick burble off the initial opening of the slide, but I don't think it's enought to be pilot, maybe it is, but it could just be the carb just getting it's airflow. But I don't notice this when running and clutching, There is so much more tourqe now, that you can easily run a gear higher in the woods. Can't say I want to recommend this kit with the hassles I had with the new jetting sizes, also I broke the adapter and had to wait an extra week for a replacement part, but I got it working well, so it will stay in!

Why not just save yourself all this hassle and order a Dial-A-Jet from Thunder Products? Search this forum for info on Dial-A-Jet and/or go to www.thunderproducts.com.I've installed three of them. My buddies have installed 2 of them. I'm ready to order one for my son's Raptor. You won't be disappointed!!!!
