Default horsepower on your bike

My banshee that turned the 62 hp number had a torque of 39ft/lbs for all of those interested in two-strokes torque.

THEBOM, my new motor should be together this weekend. I have a race on the 20th and am hoping to make it to paducah to the dyno before then. (where better to break a motor in) You should load up and come over when we do it. Let me know if interested. Two months ago when D dynoed his, it wouldn't give a solid number. I'll have to check to see if they have that problem fixed.

I have a 1989 KDX200 that has a FMF Fatty Pipe, a PowerCore Silencer, FMF Torque Reeds, and has been jetted by myself and i was wondering how much HP it puts out at the crank. My guess is somewhere near 36.......I'm happy because it eats my friends Warriors and their Blasters....one friend has a 2003 Blaster that has been jetted and has a DMC Pipe and Silencer

Hey Quadman and 1bigdsrider, I wasn't nocking your bikes, just sounds like the Dyno's you used might read a little low. For example a 650 praire I just finished with our trail package made 45.75 rwhp on my dyno.
I checked the computer at the shop today and the stk DS I had on there that made 40 hp had the muffler gutted and a K&N.

What do you mean, at the crank? Do you think I might have some more horsepower hiding somewhere?

No, hes asking if your making those horsepower numbers at the crank or the rear wheels. Rear wheel horsepower is usually what people are talking about though. He was implying that you are saying alot of HP if your talking about rear wheel HP. You get alot more HP when taking a reading off the crank.

26-27 is alot of horsepower for a mojave if your talking about the rear wheels. They don't make even 20 HP stock with a few mods they would be lucky to gain 3-5 HP with that bike.

i never had mine on the dyno but i would guess like 45hp at rear wheels. and afteramrket clutch kit really help get as much hp as possible to the rear wheels.

I dyno'd at 60.3 on gas. Then ported it up for drags and converted to alky, probably around 77 now.
