Warrior Headlight Grills?

Default Warrior Headlight Grills?

This seems like a stupid question but how do you get the grills off of teh headlights? Looks like thet just snap off but I can not get mine off. Thanks in advance.

try cutting them off...but Why are you taking them off may I ask?

I believe you are correct in assuming they pop off. Try going to the Yamaha website and then to the parts area. You can look up your year Warrior and then go down to Headlights. It shows a very nice isometric mechanical diagram for the headlights and how they go together. It looks like the plastic retainer is at the top of the rim so try popping the thing off with a flat screw driver at the top.

Nope they are part of the headlight assembly. Kinda sucks that ya can't pop them to clean the lights.

I bought a set of clear-guard covers and I need to take them off to put them on.

they are held on by screws on the bottom of the grill you will havew to take off the headlights to get to them.

Oh...so that's what that screw is in the diagram? I couldn't tell if it was simply holding the inside ring in place or the grill itself. Now I know.

Again, if you want to see the headlight assembly go to the Yamaha website.
