Craycraft vs Sparks video

Awesome videos!!
Why don't you think the pipes have something to do with the performance difference? Also, you said similar jetting, exactly how much difference?
You are in the unique position to run two of the top Raptor engine builders against each other and there are a lot of us watching. The more you equalize the external influences (weight, pipe, intake, gearing), the more accurate the comparison. FWIW, I wouldn't point to the cam/porting until you have eliminated all the differences in external mods. I'm not busting your chops, just trying to learn. Thanks!

At first I was thinking pipe, but after some measurements, I found out that my pipe is larger in diameter throughout(not necessarily better) but the in general the more restriction the more low end. Mine is less restiction with more low end and less top end.
You are right every little difference makes a difference, we will figure it out

trust me it'a all about tunning,jetting,gearing,etc...I have the mild cr686 and at Dumont over the weekend i was either beating the sparks690's or tying with them ..so i know it's not the builders but the facts inbetween that make a good all aroung bike run real well..
I started off 2 bikes behind the sparks690's and worked and worked to finally beat them, trust me they have fast bike and i am very pleased with beating them, they are fast out here in the westcoast and have the fastest builds that i have witnessed around. We worked hard and tried to improve all angles of my bike and have it dialed in just about right.
