Has anyone seen this sweet machine. It has Blue plastic with dark grey/silver racks, wheels and bumper. The side pannels are also finished in a carbonfiber look. I just saw one at the dealer and let me tell you it is the coolest looking quad to date. It also has a speedo as standard equipment. Now if they would just get the Grizz in Blue

does anyone know if that bike has been distributed nationaly. or just in certain areas of the us. I was just on the yamaha home page today and look at the color availability of the Kodiak. There was no mention of blue. I curently have a red 00' that i just added that factory speedo too. I ordered that speedo last october and just now recieved it 2 weeks ago. If the thing is calibrated correctly I can get only 54 mph out of it and that is dwn hill. But I love the bike but a blue 01' would be cool.

It's nice to know that it will take me that long to get the speedo. The 2001 comes standard wit h a speedo. By the way the rear racks are so light weight and thin walled that a Kimpek after market gas can rack bent my so bad that I had to get the rack modified to handle the gas rack. I bought my kodiak in May so I guess xmas will I see the speedo??? Wife won't have to worry what to get me for xmass!!!!!Hehehe

AS far as the Portland area goes...no one imports the Canadian models...But... if you call up Roseberg Yamaha you will be surprised at the price. I paid $5499 for my Kodiak plus $99 bucks for a Warn A2000 winch. If your interested I'll get the phone number and the man to deal with.
