This depends on what your future plans for mods are and if you have noise restrictions to deal with. Also do you want a full system or a cheaper slip on? Do you need a USFS approved spark arrestor?

If you ride in forest land you'll need a spark arrestor. I run the Sparks X6 pipe as do alot of others on this board. The X6 is an expensive but excellent pipe you can see it at www.sparksracing.com The Yoshimura is also a popular choice. The slip ons are okay but you wont see the same power gains. You'll get a bazillion different reccomendations here but overall I've never heard of anyone ditching their sparks system for another.

Yoshimura or Sparks, can't go wrong with either. With the Yoshi, you can get the TEC option which gives you the option of using three different end caps open, middle and small opening. The smaller diameter opening will choke the exhaust down and be quieter, they are all spark arrested for the forests.

Alba Pipe Kits are the best. Stage 3 comes complete with everything. Jets, air filter, pipe, and header.

DirtWheels pipe shootout for the Rappy revealed the CT gave the raptor the most HP! But to be honest....It doesnt really matter. Ive had so many pipes on my DS....and to be honest Stock pipe with a modified end cap gave it next to best HP....the best was....you guessed it.....Ron Woods...hated the end cap though!

When my machine was stock and only piped I dragged against a CT piped Rappy. The machines were dead nuts even the only difference was his pipe looked shoddy and mine didnt. Both were louder than they should have been but ran equally strong. The Sparks looks a million times better.

Check out this link for pipe shoot outs on the raptor, I thought it was very informative.
