Default Banshee storage??

I am taking on a bigger load at work over the next 4-6 months, and i wont be riding a lot i might get a chance to ride maybe once a month.... I know the crank on 2 strokes can rust if its not ran for a while... Is their any special things i should do while its setting? I put some gas stabilizer in the tank so far... I will start it ever now and then... Anything else?? Also i am runnig bel ray mc-1 synthetic oil how is that oil?

Thanks,
Trailrider

Drain the fuel tank, run the engine till the carbs are empty, then plug both exhaust openings.

Are you nuts??? that is the last thing you want to do is run it til it runs out, you can not get all fuel out that way it will for sure turn to gunk in just a couple of months, if you want to store it for 3 to 5 months putting in gas stablizer is fine, if you want to do as ernie thats fine but your gonna have to remove the carb bowls and spray with air dry them out or you will have problems. thx and happy trail riding.
