Boost bottle waste of money, reed spacers a waste of money!!!
You want to fly, shave .015 off the head, Vito's degree key and jet kit, afetrmarket air filter and a good set of pipes, Toomey, CPI's etc.
Port the stock reeds and add some carbon fiber reeds and you will be set.

Ernie - just how exactly do you go about porting the reeds.... i've read if you cut off about 1/32" - 1/16" off of the end of the actual reed petal that they'll open up A LOT quicker.... i'm kinda looking for simple inexpensive things to do to my banshee... i made reed spacers for it.... so no waste of money.... and do spacers call for a re-jet?

Well all I did is open up the inside of the cage to allow more air flow into the reed cage. I don't think any kind of re-jetting is needed for spacers, I didn't and had no problems.

yes, boost bottles are a huge waste of money. Their manufactures can talk about how it ionically stablizes the two carburation systems for a better balanced blah blah blah.. Pretty much, its just a chunck of shiny aluminum that makes it hard to run your gas line and throttle cable to the carbs. For the 25-30 bucks you would pay for one, instead buy good two stroke oil to run when mixing, like Klotz or AmsOil.
