warrior

I have a warrior and love it but from what I've read its pretty much a waste of time trying to make big improvements in hp.A pipe and air filter or maybe regearing might be enough depending on how much faster you want it to go.If your looking for big improvements I would buy another bike.

a new cam is a fairly easy upgrade that can be done..... i plan on doing so in the springish next yr..... and of course the usuall pipe/ filter / jet kit is a must......header pipe mabey... if u think $150 is worth a pipe of about the same size? i dont..

Everything I've read to-date, and Mickey Dunlap agrees as well .. unless you're putting a big-bore kit in your Warrior (435cc +) don't waste your money on a performance header, unless you want a real nice looking pipe. The Warrior header is good stock, just ugly.
If you are serious about modding your Warrior, you should talk to Mickey. He raves about the things they've done to Warriors.
Personally, my Warrior, which is basically stock except for the FMF and 12T front sprocket, is fast enough for 99% of my riding. There's not many places where you can comfortably cruize at 90km/h + here. Even 80km/h is pushing it in most places.

Basically its just worthless putting a pipe on it! Just take out the back baffle in the stock silencer....its just like putting a performance pipe on it only being cheap about it! My friend did it to his and he wants to put a high dollar pipe on it and i said its gunna make no difference because you basically have a performance pipe on it!
