Sorry Starky, there was no warning or other symptoms before it stopped.

Glad nothing happened to him. I beat mine pretty hard too. So far so good. Will you be able to do the work yourself or do you have to take it in.

my friend lost his second and third gear but they didnt fix it yet

Default Raptor tranny melt down

We split the cases a couple of weeks ago with the help of Mike's web site although we pulled the motor before taking the top end apart. Hoping to get a discount at a local dealer on some of the parts on the list. We'll see when they are ordered next week.

Checked East Coast ATV and no luck. It looks like the gears are pressed in. I suspect a good gear could be saved from a broken basket.
