Default Please help with 2001 Kodiak 400 overheating prob!!

Fellas. I overheated my machine today. I noticed that when the red light went on and the machine was at a standstill, the fan still would not kick in. I rode it all hunting season without a hitch. Is it because of the fan not kicking in?? Does the fan run even when the machine is at speed?? I appreciate any tips you guys might have have as this is my first liquid cooled machine with fan assist and i am lost at the moment.

Default Over Heating Kodiak

I have a 2001 400 Kodiak. Same thing happening to mine.
Took the whole front end off and cleaned the radiator out.
But fan not working. Next I'm going to test the fan then the thermostat.
After that, if not the problem I'll check the wires. If all else fails, do you know anyone that wants to buy a wheeler?
