raptor turning

Here are some easy first steps that I'm shocked I haven't seen. Your bike is bone stock, right? So you number one adjustment should be toe-in. From the factory the front tires are usually straight. You could also try flipping your tires/rims around for a slightly wider stance. Changing preload is also a good thing. By far the best way to improve your handling would be new uspension and a wider stance.

Take a look at what Ive got on my bike... the ITP Baja wheels make the front 1" wider in the front as well, and I icreansed the preload one notch on my front shocks... I rode the wife's stock raptor yesterday and I almost came off the thing, Ive really gotta do the same things to hers, night and day between the two of them, and Ive got minor stuff done really. Im looking at putting elkas on by the end of 2004, I like the sound of being 2.5" lower and still being able to jump like mad, unlike the lowering kit.
