The only downside to the Warn bumper is that it bolts on to the existing bumper. The warn sticks out further than the stocker, so that if you hit something it creates more force, and bends it even easier than before. I fixed mine by welding some angle iron to the original bumper to strengthen it, repainting it and then covering it up with the Warn. Of course, if you don't run into anything it won't bend Hope this helps.

You said you were looking for a "Good aftermarket front bumper"!
I Just thought I’d post you guys some info here too. I have recently released a bumper for the '02-'04 grizzly. First, these are not just a cover for the crappy grab bars that come stock on the grizzly, it’s a complete new real bumper. The warn unit is nice and has good looks but it is still only as strong as the grab bar that it is mounted to. I will say though that the warn unit does help in increasing the overall strength of the stock grab bar.
This one is a complete replacement of the grab bar. And it is made to accommodate the stock bash plate mounting and the Yamaha winch plate mounting. No changes needed. It includes struts that bolt on and off and support the rack. I did these this way so that they could be removed for those that like to run without the rack, as I normally do. Unless I have a long ride planned I run without the rack. The bumper comes with or without the headlight guards. I put those on for folks that do a lot of brush thumping. Replacing the headlight lens is not cheap at all!
These are painted with an epoxy paint in black or silver. Some guys have expressed an interest in these being coated with Rhino or Line-x bedliner material. I don't have these ready that way yet, nor do I have a cost for them done in that manner.
Pics can be seen at http://photos.yahoo.com/silverbackltd Look at Finished Bumper Pics for the completed unit! If you got questions post them here or email me at mcameron@cpsconsultinggroup.com
