Default Chain Problem

I went riding today, with my pipe and and the same jetting like I was worried about, it ran fine. Besides of my o-ring leaking more and more, I have another problem.

My Chain is way to loose. The tensioners that make the chain tight are all the way in, meaning it should be very tight, and the axel carriers bolts are tight and pulled back all the way, but the chain still has way to much slack to it and it rubs on something around my chain. I think its the chain guider, but I'm not sure. It loose speed when I go up a hill and feels like its getting pulled back from whatever its catching on...but I can keep going...what could I do to make this stop? Take out link in the chain, and lossen the tensioners?

Any help would be appreciated.

Default Chain Problem

On my 2001 warrior I had my rear sprocket wear out faster than **** !! I think I had to replace it the first 7 months of riding and I didnt ride it everyday??? It made the chain loose plus made it jump teeth while I was climbing. Took it to the dealer and they couldnt find anything wrong with it (During the first 6 months of warranty) and I was new to quads and found it out on my own. Replaced it with a Steel rear sprocket and never had a problem since.

The guy I bought it off of before put new sprockets on it and i would guess a new chain. But he never said what kind they were. So I'm not really sure. I'll go look at see if the teeth are rounded.

And it has started to slip on the sprocket mainly in first gear.....so i dunno. I'll take it off tomorrow and count the teeth of my rear sprocket....see how many there are and if an are rounded alot.

so looks like a new rear sprocket.

Best bet would be to replace the front and rear sprocket, and get a new chain.

www.rockymountainatv.com

They have great prices on sprockets and chains.

The best way to smoke a new chain is by putting it on old sprockets.
