Default 04 Raptor 1st Service?

My dealer told me that I needed to bring my bike back in after about 10 hrs of riding to service it. What all is involved with this and is it really worth it? So far my bike runs great, and I wanna keep it that way, but don't want to pay for something I can do myself.

The first service is a spark plug change, oil change and valve adjustment. I would do all of that myself. I recently adjusted the valves on my raptor and it was a piece of cake, just had to take off all the plastics. It will take you an afternoon to do all of this and its not worth it to pay $200+ to have the dealer do it, with that money you can buy a pipe.

Sometimes you can talk to your dealer and they will give you the first service for around $60 like mine did. It was worth it to let them do it one afternoon for $60.

Mine changed the oil, oil filter, spark plug, air filter, and adjusted the valves. Mine ran a lot better after they adjusted the valves.
