No, you really dont need all off that, actually I have been thinking about getting my crank stroked but I really am uneasy about doing that because of the reliability issue. A cam and piston will really wake up your warrior and it won't really cost that much.

 

Yeah, Crotts bike looks like a good example to follow.

 

I dont think u should be all that uneasy about stroking your crank I have had mine done now for almost 3 years and I havent had any problems with it yet. Raced two seasons with it on an oval track. Kinda got out of the sport and Trail rode at least Twice a week this summer with mine. Planning to get into some drag racing this comming year.
