I am getting ready to replace my front bearings on my Wolv. and I was wondering does Yamaha use a crappie bearing from factory or what? I have had my Wolv for 1 year and 3 months and I have replace the rear bearings and seals and now the fronts are out. What is the deal? If I knew I was going to have to ride it grass fields only I would not have bought the thing. I have a buddy that has a 88 Honda 300trx 4x4 and it looks like and has been to hell and back and he has never had to replace a bearing the only thing that is wrong with it is it needs new bushings in the rear swing arm they are worn out. I am not very happy with my Wolv and I am think about getting a different bike. I am going to the dealer today to talk to them about it. The bad thing is the 4-wheeler is not abused like my buddies was and I have already spent more on repairs in a year then he has in 12 years.
Thanks for any help

I freak on people ho think they have to buy bearings from a dealership.Bring your old bearings in or have the inside, outside dia.and width and buy a name brand such as *** (Don't laugh)at a bearing supply store.I helped change the swingarm bearings on a 89 Moto4 and the owner said he saved a lot compared to the dealership price. He paid $6 Canadian ($4 US) each for the two bearing we did not even bother to ask the Yamaha dealer what they wanted for the two.
