I have 2 warriors, a 95 and a 00, I replaced the stock exhaust on the 2000 with a FMF Powercore IV exhaust, and put the stock exhaust on the 95 because the muffler was rusted out on it. I also replace the air filters in both, and put vents in the airbox. Neither warrior was running correctly, the 00 would cut out at full throttle, and sometimes 1/2 throttle, etc. The 95 would not start sometimes, had weak midrange sometimes, not topend other times. There was no consistency in throttle and poor performance. It felt like the timing was off. Do the warriors have timing that can be changed? The only other thing that I can think of is that I put 1-way vents in the breather tubes of the gas cap. Could the breather vents be causing problems?

Yes, started with stock main jet, and went up 2 sizes and had the same problem with all of the jets tried. Put a new plug in and ran it and the plug was not fouled.

You might be having a fuel screen problem. Remove the fuel petcock (Gas- on/off/reserve -valve) from the gas tank and clean the screens. Did you replace the fuel lines also? Remember to torque everything down?

Try it without the valves in the gas tank breathers. The gas tank needs to breath in as well as out. Good luck

Had this exact problem on my '98 Warrior. If you have a K&N filter change it to a foam UNI or the stock setup. I dont know what exactly caused it for me but changing the filter to a foam unit cleared the problem up immediately. And yes it was properly cleaned/oiled. I was having a bad miss at anything over half throttle. The flat sport you encounter can be fixed by dropping the needle jet clip a notch or two.
