Good luck man the rail sounds cool. Whatever happened to ya? What kinda accident?

 

No accident. I have been fortunate, in that I have not crashed the Raptor at all. The only scratches are from my boots on the rear fenders. Some years ago, with a different job, I was exposed to radiation, which took out my thyroid, and it seems that I have heavy metal poisoning as well, which is taking out my adrenal glands. Its called addisons disease, and with the proper treatment, I will be fine, however, I no longer have the fight or flight ability. So, I get tired very easily, and that plus the hearniated disks, in my upper back, make riding the Raptor a sometimes painful affair, and I get tired so easily. I suppose all of the chemically induced fun of the late 70's and early 80's don't help things any. After the last trip to Glamis for New Years, I decided it was time to move on up to a rail, and have the cushy ride. Besides, I will have room for a bigger cooler. :-)

Heh... Some Busas are turning over 550HP (not in a rail, in bikes). 300 is not real impressive [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. Those 550hp Busas can easily blow by 240MPH... That's how crazy they can get...
