I'm glad that the August issue cleared up plenty of doubts about the Raptor. This machine really rips in everyway. What really impressed me was what the Associate editor Don Williams said; with the bottom end push of a Honda 400ex, the midrange punch of a DS650 and the top end rev out of a Banshee,Yamaha has combined everything we've liked about different high-performance motors into one striking powerplant. End of Quote... Grab one before they boast the price like gasoline!!!!

Just read the test results also. Man-o-man !! Since I already had the first one locally on order...I was delighted to hear the great review. Overall rating of 5 stars..cant complain about that What really made me smile, was when ATV Action stated that while Yamaha has always put out impressive machines...they still havent been able to beat the Hondas in shootouts in the "magazines". And they continued to say..."we believe Yamaha just did it " In an upcoming issue, the Big Shootout is coming. Raptor,400ex,Ds650, 250R. I wanna see those results Baaaaaad. It was also very very funny to hear the Pro riders' comments....and how they were so confident that the Raptor would prove to be undesireable...and then had to eat their words to the whole world. Hey, at least they admitted it. They say it Rocks and the performance of this machine literally was awesome.

If anyone has an issue of ATV Action, with the Review results of all catagories of the 400ex,BAnshee,Raptor, DS650,and 250R...Post them all side by side in here...so we can actually see the comparison Quad to Quad. I would, but dont have any of that info, as tested by the same people..etc etc. This would be cool to look at.
