I was looking on Yamahas site the other day and realized they got rid of the Timberwolf 4x4. Why would they drop it and not put another budget priced 4x4 with more power and better suspension for around the same price? Yamaha is confusing sometimes but hey what can you say, that rhymes...

On the ATVconnection review of the 2001's they said that Yamaha representatives told them they weren't sure when or if it will be brought back into production. I am pretty sure Yamaha discontinued them because of low sales, at least that is the only reason I can think of why they would do that.

 

A 250cc without low range struggling to turn 4 wheels was not the best idea besides the Wolverine is a 350 and weights about the same as the 4x4 Timberwolf which is a far better deal.A 300 is small for a 4x4 but it great as long as it has a low rang option.
