Blasters!!
#1
I am fairly new to these forums and have been goin threw them and reading everything about the blasters. I own a 99 Blaster that I bought about a month ago(use to own a 00 shee, but had to sell due to financial problems
), and I really have fun with it. Im 21 and around 140-150lbs so it is pretty much perfect for me.
I was suprised to see so many blaster owners, I havent seen any1 around my area riding one so far. I ride with my freinds, they all own dirtbikes, blah, but one has a 97 wolverine that he just bought about 2 weeks ago.
We took a ride last friday to a lake where the water level was really low, had a huge beach on it. By did we tear it up, it was a blast. I practiced my wheelies and busted while doing it a couple times. On the corners, seeing how the blaster is still stock, did seem to want to tip but leaning helps out to counter the effect.
I really enjoyed roosting mud all over him, it was funny as hell. Then the most enjoyable part was when we raced down a straight stretch of sand, and I blew him away, had it wrapped out all the way in 6th gear. Also tried it on pavement wrapped out in 6th, and I was impressed.
Im just glad to see all the Blaster owners here.

Blasters are a great little quad. you spund about the right size for it too. Their is a ton of mods for them and they have been around for a long time for good reasons. Not just for the price either. I got the CT240 kit. Tell you what it rips. Brakes do suck, wont argue with that, just have too keep them maintenced or try too swap them out for hydr. brakes. Easy too start and easy too work on too. Light weight too makes them great little jumpers and they are also real fun to ride in the woods because they are smaller and more manuverable(sp?).A lower profile tire will help the tippy action. I got the Holeshot the hook up great but seem to be wearing a little faster than I thought they would. They help in the corners though. Ride on fellow Blaster rider!!!

Thanks for replying guys, I just got my pipe in today around 9am, wensday. Me and my bro hooked them up, rejeted and tested it out, but I live in the city so not much testing was done, only was able to get into 4th gear then the fear of cops, ticket got into me, but the small time I ran it I did see an improvement. Front end raised up all the way to 4th gear(by the way I was ridin on pavement). Sunday is the major test, we are either goin to Flying P or to Rocky Ridge, undecided so far, long trip big land, short trip small land, hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Well my next installment to the blaster will be ITP Holeshots, rear, 20x11x8's, that should help out my riding performance as well.
Have fun gents.
