well after som ehard thought i think i have decided that i will go with the 2004 white and red raptor plastics, but i am not a huge fan of the red so i am thinking that i will take the red grill, only peice that is really red and get a blue one......

how easy is it to paint the plastics??? other thought was if anyone has the blue grill and they want to sell or swap for a red one. i want to get rid of the red one and put on a blue one. so if you have one and want a red one or want to seel one let me know asap!!

My frame is blue because i had blue plastics, but not wanting blue ones again, i was in a small tiny accident and yamaha is buying me new plastics, accident was cause by a failure in the back brakes!

 

dude if you can somhow get your dealer to get silver plastics it looks so hot with the blue frame!!!!!! the white and red on other hand (too many people have it) Make sure it comes with the graphics kit too dont let yamaha jip you out!!!!!!!!

 

NO he should be set! Its gonna look insane. If he gets rid of the red and puts a blue front piece and takes off the factory read yamaha graphic. That white and blue will look awesome with the blue frame!!! the yamaha graphics are coming off as soon as i get the quad and i have a buddy(techtip101 from this site) that does vinyl graphics, he is going to hook me up with a set of a 3 color flame kit!!!! it will look killer and it will be done in reflective so people will see me in distance on the dunes.

you will not be able to paint over plastics---- they will crack and peel within days

that is why when you buy new ones the color goes all the way through---its a mold
