I had GBC Sand Devils. They're good, and cheap. Haulers are good, but co$t more. These are about the same, and you dont have to worry about the paddles falling off like on the Haulers.

Dune, take a look at Skat-Trak's website:

www.skat-trak.com/atvpaddle.html

I'm pretty sure the "Haulers" are about the size you need. 8 paddles is the standard, unless you have them custom-made, I believe. But take a look around, too. You might find something cheaper that you like better. My Haulers came mounted on Douglas Racing rims for $320. I'm not sure how much the paddles alone are, but it's nice to have a second set of rims, so you can swap tires without having to remount them everytime you go from the dunes to the woods, and vice versa.

Get Sand Skate I's. There a shorter style angled paddle tire that still allows decent sliding/turning. The straight paddle type are more difficult under power to slide & turn. They are more better suited for straight line racing & hill climbing. I seen the GBC Sand Sharks but I don't know anybody running them in our ATV group, so I couldn't tell you much about them. I do know they are cheaper than Sand Skate II's and also less agressive (shorter paddles).

Anyway thats my 2 cents.....

Rude Dog, I've found the straight paddles to be very easy to slide around. They won't cup the sand like a V shaped paddle.
