honest to owners of the yammie i am gettin the 450 or the z400 i plan to run at tracks as well as 200 acres my friend has how is the comfort level of this quad meaning does that throttle really clamp up on you and hows the seat im 6'1 220 and i plan to run all day long on either one,,,im torn i might have to get both..lol

 

besides track riding u do trail/mountain riding hows the 450 hold up also that thumb throttle is there option kits to reduce it so i can enjoy a long day of riding without crampin thumbs or is that all b/s as well?thanx man appreciate it:^)

i think honda has the most reliable atv's than all the other atv companys...
as i read the yfz has more HP than the honda plus it got starter (so important) i couldnt even kick start the trx450
its harddddd...
make your choice you wont go wrong with either of those amazing machines
trx will probably have you more attention ....

 

I can certainly tell you that Honda DOES break!!!!! I've been around MX all my life!!!! I will say though, I have never seen as many first year mishaps with a motor as I did when the CRF came out!!!! It doesnt matter about that so much as the person riding it!!!!!!! You could say I am Yamaha Biased due to the bikes that I got!!!! Far from the truth, I've owned Honda Kawi AND Yamaha!!!!! As far as MX bikes go!!! Yamaha owns that market as far as the bike is concerned, now you can say well look whats winning the AMA SX series etc, yeah look, a Yamaha!!! But that has nothing to do with the bike!!!! Its all rider!!!! Yamaha when it comes to building performance quads......has always stood alone!!!! They are the only ones who truly have made High performance sport quads for years and years, look at the Bansheee(WHICH I MIGHT ADD IS THE LONGEST SELLING QUAD OF ANY QUAD)!!! Honda has always been concerned to much about handling versus power, Yamaha finally made a quad with both handling AND power!!!!! You knew Honda had to step up before their sells took a step down!!!! If the new TRX450R, is anything like the CRF bike!!! Then yes, as far as power is concerned it still will only compete and not dominate!!!!!!! But the only way we would ever know which is truly the fastest is on a drag strip with 1000's of people riding both over and over and not some biased MAGAZINE!!! They certainly will pick the Honda regardless if its faster or not!!!! Its funny if you think about it, pick the Dirt Bike magz for instance, Yamaha owns the sells recored for those bikes, and the Magz praise them!!!! You look at quads and you see Honda sellign the most in that category, HMMMM.........Honda is praised in that aspect!!!!!!! Selector, knowing what you know about the CRF motor shows me you know absolutely nothing about the YZF and YFZ motor, if starts to make me wonder if you really own a YFZ. Its a proven fact the YZF motor will make MORE power with the same mods than will the CRF!!!!! If you are involved in any type of MX on your CRF, you should already know that!!!!

 

No offense and dont take this as bashing, but the only mod I really see is the Cam Mod!!! the pipe and cam is the only thing that sets it away from stock basically, also stock it wouldnt be hard to be those quads you listed anyway!!!!!!!

hmmm...I think the blue would look really nice, work the color of the plastic into the rims (and they will make it go faster too...lol)
