he'll win easily. i've had my friends polaris xlt 600 triple up to 100 and it gets there fast. 600cc equals good torque but better speed!

He'll probably even win if you BOTH were on grass. Or dry pavement for that matter! It takes so much more power to move thru snow. Even my crappy old sled will hit triple digits, and my piped raptor will not get out of the 80's at similar altitude

However, I know of several new ski doo's that have grenaded crankshafts, so maybe make it a REALLY LONG race!

Well, considering sleds these days have anywhere from 4-5 times the hrspwr, and not to mention that they have about 400% more of a contact patch to the terrain.
I was laughing when I read your last post. "so theres a chance" It reminded me of dumb and dumber "soooo....your saying theres a chance!" Makes me laugh, ha ha ha

You will get smoked.

I watched my buddies modded Banshee get smoked on grass by his uncles sled. I can't remeber what kind of sled though. It was a older 600 too. It was funny. His Banshee is fast and that sled took off and threw grass all over his Banshee. I was real surprised. I gained a new respect for sleds after that.

The same buddy was at some dirt drags this summer and they were running around 500-600+ft bracket drags.(Can't remeber exact distance) He said he was running 65mph and some of the sleds were running 100mph, throwing roosts all the way down the track.

Yep, 660ft = 1/8 mile for sure. No competition between a REV 600 and a Rappy.

Stock Rappy: ~ 35HP, 4 stroke, 400lbs dry

Stock Rev 600: ~120HP, 2 stroke, 495lbs dry

You will not simply be beat, you will be destroyed. With the drag conditions you specified, I would be surprised if you hit 3rd gear by the time he hit the finish line!!

New sleds, even the old ones are wicked fast. But now keep in your trunk that if you both had to do an endurance race on the same amount of fuel .. the shoe would shift to the other foot
