Default Warrior Project

Right now, I want to set a goal to make the fastest Warrior with the same motor it came with from the factory......Like I could bore it out, stroke it, whatever I want to do to it....but I want to keep the factory motor(like not swappping it for a 660 motor etc).....This will not happen right away at all....it will take years...but I wanan set this as a goal.....so What are some things I could do?

I want it to still be reliable but fast

BTW, I feel like being different and modding a warrior...so please no one say buy a diffrent quad or anything like that.

Unfortunately, your goal is contradictory. You want the fastest Warrior possible with the stock motor. Not a problem, look at the many big bore stroker kits. Problem is, then talk to people who have run them and ask how long the motor lasted. The bottom end generally can't take it, valves snap, I have known several people who went overkill on a Warrior and look back wondering why they did it. I rebuilt the top end w/ a new cam, piston, and the typical intake and exhaust mods. It made a huge difference, all for a nominal cost. And I knew that was the point to stop. Unfortunately, you can't have both massive power (compared to stock) and reliability...with any motor for that matter.

I knidve figured that The farther the bore and stroke=less and less reliable...which I know.....but i mean I want toi do everything I can to it without drowning the reliables THAT much...

From what I have read and heard about there is only one place for Warrior performance and reliability. That would be Four Stroke Tech. I heard or read about one of his Warriors, I think it was a 435, that was still together after 16 years!

I have a 95 wolverine with a 435 kit. Basically the same top end as a warrior. And yes, it is still running strong. Mickey perfected the kit on the warrior and was quite good at doubling rwhp without sacraficing much at all. Give Mickey a call, he'd be happy to discuss not only all involved, but just how durable it would be for your type of riding. Just be honest with him. If you are gonna run it pinned in 6th for an hour, maybe not the kit you need. If you are a 50% full throttle rider, most likely you'll be just fine.

Ride On.

Well you are going to need to make it more than 500cc to accomplish this because there are 500 Warriors out there that will run. Give Mickey Dunlap a call at Four Stroke Tech, he will tell you everything you need to know to make it breath fire.

And yes, you can make a Warrior outrun a piped Raptor.
