12 front, what size back for rappy?
#1
I run a 12 tooth front and stock rear. I want to gear down more so I was thinking going 42 rear. What do you think? would I have to change chains to do so with either 12/42 or 13/42? thanks

Hayseeds dead on. I am running a 12-41 and it is perfect for anything but long, long straightaways. The only problem I had was clearance between the sprocket and my aftermarket skidplate!

straight line sand climbing is why I want to be geared so low, top end isn't as important as climbing ability. I rarely rev out 5th so that isn't as big a deal as good pulling
