huberg enforcer 600?

actually its a Husaberg Enforcer, and yes one of the fellas on this site has one. Although I can't remember his name. I've seen a few pics of it, and it looks like it would be crazy fast. But it also looks VERY top heavy, wide, and has less than attractive plastic. If you want to be different/one of a kind though I'd say its the only way to go.

To my knowledge, Husaberg tried coming out with a 600cc, a 520cc, and a 400cc several years ago. They were plauged with quality issues and only a handful were ever sold in the States. I was looking at them back in 97 but couldnt pull the trigger based on the limited, fairly negative write ups on them. I wouldnt buy one of them unless they practically gave it away.

KTM had one of the 600 models on the test track at their dealer show in 1998 and it went like stink but handled very poorly. Only a few were ever delivered to dealers and when KTM [Husaberg's parent company] decided to pull the plug on the Enforcer project, the remaining models in dealer's inventories were sent back to the plant.
If they were to get involved in the ATV project again and used the 525 KTM engine with a chassis similar to the new YFZ or 450R....then they would have something.

Turtler is right,Husaberg has been talkin up these machines for years and still nobody has seen or ridden one.
ATK did the same in the early 90's.They talked about this quadzilla killer they had in the making and they never made one.
Even if they do produce a running quad,it won't stay running for long. They are the Yugos of the motorcycle world.
I just found a distributor on the internet thats right around the corner from my house,I'll have to stop and take a look.
