Wife Rolled the Y2K-Kodiak
#1
Spent all day at the dunes playing around. after about 4hrs she got cocky. She went around a blind corner and started to slide down the embankment. couldent steer out due to the low traction sand conditions. So she decided to ride it out WELL there was a huge stump at the bottom of that little hill. She launched off it no big deal really except for the fact that she let off the gas so the nose dropped like a brick. The Kodiak slamed into the ground nose first and almost threw her over the bars but she was able to push herself back (barley). BUT when she did she also happend to hit the gas. So she proceceded to ride about 3ft up a 90degree grade sideways at FULL throttle WELL over she went still holding on for dear life. It rolled over her sideways and landed on its wheels about 5 ft from her. Dident break a thing on the quad or herself. She has about 15 HUGE bruses though. She got up dusted herself off pulled the handelbars back up and we headed out for more.
What a wonderfull woman i have HEHE.

Sounds like you have a tuff woman. The last time my wife rode, she too took a spill on her Polaris Sport. We were zooming across the dunes and she jumped a mogul at speed. The machine got up on 2 wheels, her foot came off the floorboard and went under the tire, pulling her off the bike. She got up with blood running down her ankle and foot (I told her not to wear sandals, but she wanted to tan) and wanted to keep going rather than head back to camp to clean up her foot.
We rode for another day and a half before loading up to go home. When we got home, her foot was swollen and she couldn't walk. The next day, we went to the doctor for x-rays, but nothing was broken. She did have to use crutches for the next week, though.
That was Memorial Day last year and the last time she rode (but not by choice). She was pregnant shortly after and we just had our little girl last Monday. She can hardly wait to get back on the dunes.
