Default How much faster is a 400ex then a Wolverine?

Well I rode with them numerous times and never had any problems keeping up or setting the pace. My bike was never quite stock when I rode with them, but yet neither were theirs. They all had pipes on theirs too. At the time I had White Bros. pipe, intake mods, and jet kit. I was never faster, but never far behind either, they were winding them out and I was keeing right up with them.

A good friend of mine has a 400EX with a Big Gun pipe and I had my Wolverine and we were going down the road as fast as we could, top gear wide open and cousin was in on this with his Scrambler 400 too. Well I took off first and was in front when my buddy on the EX tried to pass me, he was wide open, I looked over and I could see his thumb all the way down, and it took him awhile to pass me. He was about 2mph faster than I was as far as top speed. He could beat me through the gears though, he would pull away about 2-3 bike lengths away when we would stomp them andn take off through the woods. My bike was very close to the 400 Scrambler's top speed. I might have been just a tad faster than the Scrambler top speed, but it was very close. Now I dont have to worry about any of them, I can leave them both in the dust at will on a straight stretch if I wanted to.

I have the 400EX and the wifes Wolverine(stock) and there is no comparison, the Yammy is a weakling! I do want to build it up, I'd love to race it in the Utility class but right now I would get smoked.
