Default YFZ 450 Pipe opinions?

a buddy of mine put the Big Gun pipe on his YFZ along with jet kit and airbox mod. He picked up 3 bike lengths on me at comp hill. Pissed me off with the mods I have on the Raptor. lol

I like the GYT-R set up i have on mine, it gives you tons of low end torque, especially where the yfz needs it. because it already has a crazy mid range hit it should haul *** all the way to the end. i cant really compare to other pipes though.

Get an FMF Q if you are concerned about noise.

I've got and LRD and can honestly say it's the best pipe for Drag Racing, as for other types of riding I don't know I only ride at Dumont. I've beat EVERY pipe out there consistantly on big weekends, if you want power give LRD a serious look. The only pipe I've noticed to come close is ESR.

i hope these are quieter for 4 strokes than 2 b/c the Q on my 250R made no difference. the only thing it did was change the tone but db's are the same...well, at least it looks pretty good on the bike, though.

I absolutely love my procircuit Titanium-4! I got the titanium header too. The system is soooooo light, and gave me a lot more power, all the way through the revs. Really made the bike rev quite a bit faster too. As for noise, well, anything that gives great horsepower gains, is unfortunatley going to be loud. Id say I went from 89db, to about 100-102db. Its not quit!! If you want quit, go with the white brothers E-2. They put a lot of work into that thing, and its suppose to be really nice!

I just bought the LRD full exhaust and it really pulls hard from bottom to top. This pipe made a huge gain!
