Everyone else seems to be happy with their sparks pipes. In fact you guys are the only people I've heard complain about them.

On another site that is dedicated to the yfz there is a huge thread of people that have had sparks problems and one guy on his 3rd.

No problem with my Fatboy 4 exhaust. Love the sound and the added gain on the bottom to mid range.

Hey Bigbubba, any of the good (honest) engine builders claim 50-51rwhp with a built high compression YFZ. The one I spoke of is low compression (pump gas). It made 41.04rwhp stk with exhaust cam ret, no a/b lid and baffle removed. There's no huge games on these bikes although the 9 hp is night and day different to drive.
This bike would lose by 6-7 lengths in 300ft to our good 686 pump gas raps, now it runs dead even.
We build about 200 race engines a year and our 50hp bikes beat most others 55-60 hp bikes, so don't let the numbers game get to you. Some advertise higher then realistic dyno numbers, we talk real numbers and let the race track tell the rest.
