Without a pipe and jetting to go along with your filter, you will lose top end and low end power with bigger tires,it puts the gearing too high, the stock motor lugs and won't make full power. After my mods, I pull 57-58 with my Sur Tracs, they say 25, but they are barely bigger than the stock 23's, just wider. With a decent pipe and jetting to match, with those Grizz tires, you should see 60.

03Wolf, to be honest, I never took a speed run with the 424 installed, but when I ran it down the road to test it out, the motor seemed to wind out a lot better, taking the drag of the shaft and front axles off the motor really helps a lot, that may give you the power to really wind out on top with bigger tires. All you do for the install is reuse the springs on the drive shaft ends, but you do have to cut the plastic cover over the shaft to put the 424 in place, if you want to keep the knuckles covered. I wouldn't think that would be expensive if you ever wanted to replace it if you took the 424 off in the future ( but you won't, it makes the Wolverine a lot more fun to ride.)
