Im not saying anything bad against polaris, I kinda like them, but for top speed they are the worst ever.

I went out riding with my buddy who has a '98 Wolverine and I have a 2000 Grizzly. As far as flat out drag racing goes I could beat him every time with the auto and little higher top end, both are stock units. When it came to the woods though I just couldn't hang with him, but I was riding in 2wd because I like sliding through corners so that hurt me a bit. The Wolverine just has better handling and it's alot lighter.

I agree. I can beat them in a Drag race but I have a hard time beating him on the trails. I can do it but I think if he was a better rider he could beat me. The Grizzly is real fast for a 4x4 utility but its still a bit tippsy on tight trails.

Bring on the Wolverine and while your at it bring on the that pull *** 500 too. I raced a 500 SP and killed him. When we stopped i asked him why he didn't give it harder. He said he gave it as much as he could without blowing it up.
I was amazed and really impressed of the power of my Grizz. Hey maybe i'll race a BOMB Traxter next HA HA! Like a tank, slow like one too.
The wolverine will give me a run for my money i hear though. Oh ya before anybody brings it up, we are talking sport/utility not SPORT okay.
I know that the 500 Scrambler is quicker but it competes in the Banshee class which is SPORT.
Oh ya and i'm pure stock right now.

The Grizzy was put in a class of it's own by Yamaha and it is a no brainer that it has more power than any utility out there right now.The big shootout with the big bore bikes will be comming out soon but the Grizzy aready has the power catagory nailed down.

If the Wolverine gives you a race ,than my Explorer would give you an even better one! I think I could take you though. Have you ever tried one??????????

I got a OO' TEam Alba Wolverine with 25" super swampers. I got a friend with a stock Grizzly and I can't get away from him. But if I put my stock tires on I smoke him all day long.
