and if you are not the greatest rider so be it but as you progress and size and skill you dont want a quad that you can outperform.

 

Just wait one minizzle! I think you could handle any one of these. Since you already been riding a blaster you should be able to upgrade to something bigger, just take it easy for awhile and you should be fine. Your not too too young and not too light and just because something is quick and fast doesnt mean you have to go quick and fast right away, the throttle isnt a light switch.

I get that sometimes. But I think that if you post this in the honda forum, then they are going to tell you to get a 450r, but if you post this in the yamaha forum, then they are going to say get a yfz450.

Why don't you go long and get the yfz1000 LE...

For you I would really say that a 450 is to much power for you, and me...

So, I would get a 400ex like what I am thinking about...A z400 also. Just wait awile b4 you go long to the yfz450. I mean, on allmost all ATV's they that you have to be 16 to ride them, but do we follow that rule people?...no... yfz450s and z400's arn't very fast in stock. To much power? nawww. he'll get used to stock and then modifie it. get a yfz450. unless you can't buy new.

 

how much horsepower does the z400 stock have compared to a rappy stock? I read somewhere in a mag that theres only 2 h.p. difference. who knows i may have been reading about a z400 with a aftermarket pipe or smoething.

 

raptor is 36... z400 is no more than 32... still quite close tho...
