They had to go for the 1st 2 point play. the score was 21-16. The way they were playing, there was no guarentee that the Panthers would have scored another touchdown, which they needed to win. By going for 2, it would have made it 21-18 and given themselves at least a chance to tie it, and go into overtime. They lost by more than 2 so it did not hurt them one bit.


Plus, if they had made it, i would have won $100! That was my only chance to get the numbers I had [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Yeah the kicker shouldn't have kicked the ball out of bounds that killed the Panthers chances with that ball location and the time that was left on the clock....!

 

It wasnt a matter of points and what they "shouldhave, could have done" what lost the game for the panthers is what won the game for the pats. its called $$$$$$$. yes you dont have to believe me, but i pay attention to "EVERY" detail when i watch a football game, and one thing i especially pay attention to, is penalties, and the refs "IGNORED" alot of things that the pats did during the game, yet they called a whole lot of penalties on the panthers....... check this out, there is "no such penalty" as "Delay of game on the DEFENCE" come on, that never existed before this game. if you payed attention to the owners box for the patriots owner, you could see him making "Signals" to the referee's and the players, now if you had millions of $$ to throw around, and a team thats in the superbowl...guess what, you just won the game before it even strated. i just hope i am not the only person who has enough common sense to know a fix when we see it. like the 7, yes i said "7" times i watched the pats yank on a pnthers face mask and was never called on, and a cant even remember how many times i watched patriots defenders literally "push" panther recievers out of the way, and guess what, the ref's MAGICALLY never saw it. but whats done is done, but that was hilarious when brady threw that interception. and when Vinetairy missed 2 kicks. great moments. panthers should have, and would have won. but in the end thal all-might-dollar always wins.

 

That's some funny azz ****. I hope you're joking. As for the defense being called for delay of game. They were called for that because they were interfering with the ball after it had been placed in play. The defense can also be called for delay of game by holding an offensive player to the ground as long as he can to keep him from getting back to the line and being ready for the next play. As for the owner comments, that's just to funny.

 

Nother corrupted one....you guys are a-plenty. whatever you say still dont change the fact that the game was just too screwed up. i cant wait till the pats get ruled by every other team this upcoming season, and i definetly cant wait to see how much more screwd up super-bowl XXXVIIII will be compared to this recent one. football just isnt what it used to be, all they care about is ratings and money...nothing more.
