hey how did you accompish putting a 650 engine in a warrior and how did you hook up a rad to it if its air cooled, or is that a oil cooler? i own 2 - 01 XR650L's and the maintenance on them are a pain inthe butt, anywho yeh my question , that musta been a lot of modifying

it was a long-term project with lots and lots and lots of work and one modification after another, oh and it is an oil cooler and not a radiator, one of my last temporary mods that has not been re-located yet, does'nt look to great but does the job for now.

XR650Warrior, I have a 99Warrior and thinking about doing the same engine swap as you did. Can you give me some tips on what to do and what not to do? Doe's it bolt right in? What modofications do I have to do to complete this? Here is my email address pagan@coastalnet.com Thanks

first thing I noticed is the frame mounting points... under the front half over the enginge he welded some stuff on [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] i see ALOT of changes... *thinks for a min* hhmmm wodner if a busa motor would fit in there. ...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Check out my pic page... I have an xr600 bored to a 628 in a 250r frame... before the quad days we had an xr500 in a 200x and two xr600's in 350x frames... They didn't make any big bores so we COMPENSATED, and have now CONVERTED to yamahas big bore...
