One has an 02 and the other an 03.They are going to place a heat shield under the tank,both side panels and re-jet the carb

My wife's dad and one of my buddies I work with got them also, I'm just waiting on mine.

 

I just got my recall in the mail. They are going to install heat kit. WELL Well. they FINALLY admit they have a problem . I went round and round with my dealer just to get a blow off from them.I fixed mine last year after posting here. With the help of Andy Bassam and mich 660 I got the problem licked. I gave up on yamaha due to this But at least they are making it right.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

The funny part to me was I had always heard of the gas boiling thingbut never believed it.Well thsi summer we were using his and riding it slow....after a while it ran like crap.I remembered the gas issue and sure enough the damn gas was boiling.I have to admit I would have had to see it to believe it.We just took the side covers off from that point on.
