i was just wondering i heard that u had to fix the yfz after evrey 30 hrs or somthing like that is the raptor faster than a yfz and is it better on trails im not realy woried bout mx just top speed and wich one is better on trails

 

I sold my raptor to get the new yfz. I race a little bit but not often. I ride trails alot. The trails we ride i am mostly standing up so the seat isnt a factor for me. When i had the raptor and would get stuck in a trail the reverse didnt help.

The yfz is faster and lighter. I would get the yfz or wait for suzuki 450 and see if it has reverse.Good luck on your decision.

How can you say YFZ id better on trails, its good for its purpose, and the Raptor is good for its. The YFZ is a race machine, and an extremely uncomftarble and unpleasent ride on the trails. The Raptor is plush, with the suspension being soft, could seat, sits nice, and has the monster torque.

 

I also heard the YZF is not a great trail machine, the Raptor and Z400 being better for that purpose. Im not bashing the YZF, he11, I cant wait to ride the quad. As far as standing on the pegs while riding trails, yeah, I do that but not all the time. Must be getting too old to stand and get beat up on a quad all day.

As far as rebuilds every 30 hours, that has got to be b.s. Who in their right mind would buy a quad that needs a top end every few rides.

 

LOL. Imagine turtler what a money pit that would be. Im no bashing the YFZ at all either, but its purpose is not the trails, its the track, the Raptor and Z400 are where the trails are at.
