Get a YFZ. If you ride trails, the power output of the 450 will be much better than the Banshee. Plus, the handling of the YFZ is lightyears ahead of the Banshee. Not to mention that it is expensive to modify a Banshee because you have to buy two of everything.

I would say a Banshee since you are going to run wide open alot.

I'd get the yfz. I have owned both and my yfz is much better.

My uncle had a banshee and my 450 would barely beat it in a drag.

if you are riding trails get the yfz because its almost like a 2 stroke in the higher gears but hooks up better and has better low end power

roosthrower has come to tell the facts
stock for stock the yfz accelerates quicker but the shee will reel it in on the top end. pipe the shee and it will win from start to finish. put a full system on the yfz and it is a little quicker than a piped shee. Buy some reeds for the shee and it will even out. All of this is in sand with paddles or on the street. On dirt, the yfz has the advantage.

beyond the motor, the suspension and handling is way better on the 450. and if u pipe, jet, filter, its much faster..the jet kit makes a big diff.

I agree with roosthrower. I have the Banshee and the YFZ. the banshee has more mods and will easyly out run my YFZ IN A STRAIGHT LINE. You through in some turns and the YFZ (witch hooks up) will pull away. If you like to spinn every time you shift get the banshee. But they are both a blast to ride .You should get both

After i buy a 250r, I'm gonna find a cycletrader w/ a built banshee in it. Everyone needs one in their garage.
