I'm interested in the answers here too. Ive replaced 3 stems, and 1 that I had reinforced at a local machine shop. I'm now on the second one they built me. Stockers suck.

I am 6'3" and I tried using Tag X5 Quad Bend handlebars and they always felt a little too low to me. I did not paricularly like the stock Raptor bars either. I just changed to a chrome Roll Designs stem that is 1.5 inches taller than stock and Tag T2 CR-HI bend bars and I love it! It no longer feels like my arms are down by my knees when I am going around a corner. Thanks to the great people at Duncan Racing for helping me pick out this setup. Kathy there said her son is about my size and he raced this setup all last year. It does work great for taller people!! It is surely not a cheap setup, but I feel confident that it will outlast any "local" shops stem reinforcements.
