I ordered the pro-design intake for a banshee with stock 26-28 carbs. I told this to the yamaha dealer and he told me"thier is only one size", are you sure? "yes" ok. I ordered it. I picked it up today and the sticker says 33-35mm. Is this reffering to the carb? If so, He's one dead dealer! Please let me know bye 2/17

Do your stock carbs fit in the boots tightly? If so they are probably right. The 33-35 should mean for aftermarket carbs though.

I may be wrong but I thought that the intakes were the same size, but it was the rubber pieces that go on the intakes that are different sizes, and thats what you can change. Correct me if I am wrong...

And unless you want to pay out the @$$ for parts, I wouldnt buy from the stealership. You can find everything ALOT cheaper on the internet, especially ebay.

I may be wrong here, but I thought the PD intakes were only for 34-36 carbs??

im sorry...but i avoid the dealership as much as possible. usually theres like one guy at the stealership you can trust to order the right part. and like 3 or 4 idiot that don't give to s's. or they only know about sleds or sport bikes....whateva

i'll try calling the dealer once....if my guy doesn't answer or is to busy....click. i go online or call the manufacturer myself and get it straight from them. and if they screw up...they are normally remorseful and will send the correct part immediatley and eat the shipping.

i used to order just my OEM parts from the dealer...then i was introduced to Bob @ Magnolia.

don't get me wrong...i would be happy to support the dealer if they could only demonstrate some kind of consistant level of support. ordering something through them is like rolling the dice. and i don't gamble.
