What could I do with $1500 bones?

I have been stuck on these forums. Lots of good info this place is nice! Anyways I have $1500 comming to me within the next couple weeks. I am too big for a blaster so thats out of the question, Im 6'1 200 pounds. I cant find anything cheap enough and the things that I think that might be cheap enough I cant find for example older early 90s warriors. I do a lot of trail riding and love to go mudding I was thinking of maybe just trying to find a rolling chassis and then finding a decent cheap motor, Does this sound like a good idea? If so whats some good motors I can look into getting? Im thinking atc or atv no dirtbike motors because of the counterbalance situation.
Saving up more money and getting something else is out of the question, I have been saving to get this money for awhile now and with lots of bills I barely make it, so I have to stay in this price range. I could always buy a dirtbike or atc but a quad is what I want money permitting. I have loved quads every since I had my first one when I was 15 I had a blaster it was rugged but hey its a little different when you have to work and buy things yourself. Anyways does anyone have any useful info they would like to share so maybe I can get up and running for $1500 I dont care how much labor I have to put into it as long as it isnt money. I can do the work just dont have the extra cash.
I have an ad listed if anyone is interested in a trade thats has an older quad you can check it out here. Western Ohio
Items for trade for older quad
Thanks for any help/insight in advance.

I wouldn't recommend buying a rolling chassis and trying to build from there. You don't have the funds for such a project IMO. I would shop around and try finding a complete bike that runs good. Unfortunately with only $1,500.00 you’re probably looking at an ATC. The only quad you will find for $1,500.00 is going to be a blaster or something that will require more cash to get running.
Look into getting an old Honda ATC. Those things run forever and are not too hard to work on. Just keep in mind the older the machine, the harder it will be to find parts. Just do some research before buying anything. You don't want to buy something that’s going to cost a lot of $$$ to maintain.
Hope this helps.
