Yes, yamaha did a good job with the yfz.
As much as ppl "b*tch" about the hard seat on the yfz, people "b*tch" the same about the kick-start on the 450r.
Most yfz owners get annoyed by people talking about the seat cuz they dont see it as a problem, same way i feel about the kick-start.

Yamaha dererves MUCH credit. It took big cajones to build a quad like they did, it took great engineering to make it work, they have both.
I am still confused at Hondas thought process, they admit to building a more "well rounded" bike, might not be as good as the Yammy on the track, but overall, you know, that should be the quad with the elec start. Dont get me wrong. I AM VERY GLAD IT HAS NO BATTERY. It just seems like a conflict to me.

well actually i like the kik start on the 450 r but i agree on the yfz being faster. but stop complaining about the kik start. the words race ready quad! how many quads do you see in races running electric start!

Biggerisbetter- You are right. We sport buyers pay for all the goodies that the dirtbikes and street bikes get. I bet the profit margins look nice on the quads.

14mins, you seem like a great guy, and I have a lot of respect for you and the rest of the adelo team. But these kinds of posts are just for being a dink, and you just keep starting new ones that say the same thing every day or so.

It seems Honda has been going downhill in this market for a few years and this is the final blow maybe.
Honda doesn't really seem to have the overall edge they used to have.

Well i dont agree with you guys.I own a 450r and have riden my friends yzf.
i can tell you first hand the honda is faster stock.
it handles alot better and rides alot smoother.you think the yama makes so much power with it's dohc. did you ever stop and think that the hondas sohc has less compression a less expensive carb.
even though the yama is at a 11cc disadvantage, what thats only 1 horespower.you put that carb on the honda up the compression to the yamas and the hondas 450 will really smoke yzfs.the honda will be alot more reliable, and has alot more potential in the motor department.
